Bishkek, formerly known as Frunze during the Soviet era, was the childhood and youth home of the renowned military commander, Mikhail Vasilyevich Frunze.
The original house where Frunze lived has been carefully preserved, maintaining both its interior and exterior as it was. History enthusiasts can explore photographs, drawings, personal items, books, and household objects that once belonged to the commander.
In 1967, a modern museum building was constructed around the original house. Today, the house itself serves as the centerpiece of the museum’s four-story structure.
