Uzbekistan Facilitates Transit of Afghan Fresh Fruits to Central Asia

During the inauguration of the Termez International Trade Center, Afghanistan’s Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, met with Uzbekistan’s Prime Minister, Abdulla Aripov, to discuss boosting bilateral trade and transit cooperation. A key focus of the talks was enhancing the export of Afghan fresh fruits to Central Asian countries.

Prime Minister Aripov emphasized Tashkent’s readiness to strengthen commercial ties with Kabul by offering Uzbekistan as a transit route for Afghan fruit exports, streamlining their access to neighboring Central Asian markets.
